Praying The Rosary

  1. Make the Sign of the Cross and pray the "Apostles' Creed”. (holding crucifix)

  2. Pray the "Our Father”. (1st large bead)

  3. Pray 3 "Hail Mary’s”. (3 small beads once each for faith, hope, & charity)

  4. Pray "Glory Be to the Father”. (chain)

  5. Recall or Announce the Mystery and pray the "Our Father”. (next large bead)

  6. Pray 10 "Hail Mary’s” while meditating on the Mystery. (10 small beads) (referred to as a decade)

  7. Pray the "Glory be to the Father” & the “Fatima Prayer” (on the chain)

Continuing around the Rosary Beads repeat Steps 5, 6, & 7, for the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, & 5th Mysteries. When 5th mystery is completed, the Rosary concludes with the Hail Holy Queen, & the Sign of the Cross (on medal)
